Alfred Herbert Fowler Jr

Alfred Herbert Fowler Jr. was born on April 18, 1954 in California to Gelater Fowler and Alfred H. Fowler Sr. He graduated from San Fernando high school and later married his wife Barbara T. Fowler. He worked for himself at “Fowler Handman and Plumbing”. In his free time he enjoyed hanging out with his grandkids , basketball, roller skating in Cerritos California and in Northridge California , and all things electronics .

He was very smart and hard working and he did his best as a father and grandfather.

He leaves behind his brothers (Virgil and Paul Fowler ), his sister (Ester Fowler), his sons (Alfred H. Fowler III, Odel Day-Fowler, and Detreon Day) , his daughters (Lashonda Fowler and Donesha Day), and 9 grandkids ( Lance Fowler Smith, Ezekiel Toris, Selena Fowler , Anthony Fowler , Odel day-Fowler Jr., Zamira Fowler , Cateleya Fowler, Damauri Day , and Damiyah Day) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews , and loved ones.

Alfred Herbert Fowler Jr. is forever in our hearts and will be deeply missing by the community, family , and friends.

A Fallen Limb

A limb has fallen from the family tree.I keep hearing a voice that says,“Grieve not for me.Remember the best times,the laughter, the song.The good life I livedwhile I was strong.Continue my heritage,I’m counting on you.Keep smiling and surelythe sun will shine through.My mind is at ease,my soul is at rest.Remembering all,how I truly was blessed.Continue traditions,no matter how small.Go on with your life,don’t worry about falls.I miss you all dearly,so keep up your chin.Until the day comeswe’re together again.”
